Solution:

The selling price of that washing machine will be :

Solution:

The selling price of that article will be:

Solution:

The selling price of that smartphone will be :

स्मार्टफोन का विक्रय मूल्य होगा:

$$ 7500 \times \frac{90}{100} \times \frac{80}{100} = 5400 $$

15. An article with marked price 540 rs is sold as 496.80. Find out the discount %?

15. एक वस्तु जिसका अंकित मूल्य 540 रुपये है, 496.80 में बेची जाती है। छूट % ज्ञात कीजिए?

c. 8%
d. 8.5%

Answer: c. 8%

Solution:

The discount amount will be = 500-496.80= 43.2

Now we have to find out what percent of 540 is 43.2 because that is the discount given
Let the discount be x.

छूट की राशि होगी = 540−496.80=43.2

अब हमें यह पता लगाना है कि 540 का 43.2 कितना प्रतिशत है क्योंकि यही दी गई छूट है।

$$ 540 \times \frac{x}{100} = 43.2 $$ $$ x = \frac{432 \times 100}{540 \times 10} $$ $$ x = 8 $$

16. The original price of a T.V is set to Rs. 6,000. If the discount is 20%. Then it is increased by 10%. Find out the selling price of that T.V?

Solution:

According to the question:

प्रश्नानुसार:

$$ 6000 \times \frac{80}{100} \times \frac{110}{100} = 5280 $$

17. The list price of a T-Shirt is 440 rs and a customer pays 396 rs for it. The discount rate will be?

Answer: c. 10%

Solution:

Discount amount = 440-396= 44

छूट की राशि = 440−396=44

$$ 440 \times \frac{x}{100} = 44 $$ $$ x = \frac{44 \times 100}{440} $$ $$ x = 10 $$
